Russell Ness
Russell's passion is working with individuals and organisations to help create high performance working environments. His tertiary qualifications include Art, Design, Human Performance and Learning. Russell has been involved at governance and management levels and has served on a number of boards and as a senior line manager with several corporate and not for profit enterprises. In the early 1990s, he moved to take up a senior national role with Telecom NZ. Russell's significant accomplishment was managing the national training function and then, whilst managing the corporation's performance improvement division, creating a business performance improvement approach which was deployed to support the development of Telecom’s new enterprises such as Xtra, the New Media cable TV company, International Enterprises and the new network build and maintain company, Connectel. He initiated his own consulting company early in 1997, concentrating on the design and implementation of cost effective and common sense approaches to organisational and individual effectiveness. In 1998 he authored a Management Field-book. In early 1999, Russell initiated and took up a directorship with Arthur Andersen for 12 months until a long-term replacement was recruited into the role. In 2003, Russell formed Correda Limited, a web-based software company marketing, among other products, Kit, an online management toolkit and intranet (www.kit.net.nz). Russell and his team continue to provide people related services to a variety of individuals and organisations. |
